Sugar – 2 Cup
Boil water in a pan. Add amla into it and boil for 5 minutes on medium flame till they become tender.
After that remove from heat and drain the water with the help of strainer.
Allow the amlas to cool down. Now remove their seeds and cut into pieces.
Take a pan, add all amla pieces. Add sugar over the amlas and keep aside for a day so Amla soaks up sufficient sugar syrup.
On the second day you will see that all amla pieces are floating in that syrup.
Keep it for another day.
After 2-3 days the pieces of amla slices will settle at bottom.
Now strain the syrup with the help of strainer and separate the all amla pieces.
Spread these pieces in a plate and dry it in the sun light for 4-5 days until all moisture from the candy will goes away and candy will dry completely.
Add sugar powder over these candies and mix. This is optional.
Keep these candies in the container and enjoy them.

Tips:
- You can make it sweet and salty in taste by sprinkling black salt over them.
- Do not discard sugar syrup. Boil till it thickens and store it. You can drink it by mixing the water in summer.
