2 potatoes, boiled and grated
½ cup cheese, grated
1 green chilli, chopped
1 tbsp. corn flour
2 tbsp. maida (refined flour)
½ tsp. oregano herbs
A small pinch baking soda
¼ tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger paste
salt to taste
1/4 tsp. red chili powder
Take potatoes in a bowl. Add corn, grated cheese and green chilli.
Add corn flour, maida, herbs, baking soda, black pepper powder, ginger paste, salt and red chilli powder.
Mix and mash them using your finger. Apply oil on your hand and make small and smooth balls from them.
Heat oil in a pan on medium to high flame. Drop balls in oil gently. Stir continuously so that they can cook from all sides.
Lower the flame and cook till they become golden brown in colour.
Remove them from oil and keep them on an absorbent paper.
Serve them with your favorite dip.

Tips:
- Add flour in right proportion. If they burst in oil, add some flour. Too much flour make them hard.
- Grind corn without water. Extra soft mixture tend to break easily in the oil.
- You can use any type of cheese like mozzarella or processed.
- You may add coriander leaves.
